Number one : This Digipak is for a band called "King Lizard"
Their a rock band and like many other rock bands they have a dark Digipak with pictures of the band on. But they have put their own twist on it by turning the band members into characters.
Number Two : This is the Rhianna Digipak for her album "LOUD"
Rhianna is a Pop singer.
Number Three : This is a Digipak for the Gorrilaz album demon days
Gorillaz are an indie/dance band.
After analysing these three digipaks on a critical level I feel that I futher understand what appeals to people and have come to the conclusion that Digipaks/Album Covers need to be a visual representation of the music on the CD e.g. metal and rock albums often have predominetly darker colours on.
Here are some of the pictures I intend to use for my digipak ,
although I might change my ideas and some pictures
might just not work with the format.
I really like this picture but I am slightly concerned
that it might be too dark to fit in with the rest of the
Digipak.
This picture is perfect for my Digipak and I am really
likely to use it in my final piece.
I love this digital artwork and will probably incoporate
it into my Digipak
